In general, motor vehicle engines can be divided into two 4-stroke engine and the 2-stroke engine. Both have a fundamental difference to the motor with a 4 stroke engine does not generate too much smoke through the exhaust. - Step Suction
On a motorized machine contained a piston that moves from the dead point to the top (TDC) to bottom dead center (BDC). In this step the fuel and air mixture to be sucked into the cylinder. After the suction valve opens while the exhaust valve to be closed. When the piston moves down will cause the cylinder into a vacuum chamber. The entry of a mixture of air with the fuel into the piston due to the air pressure from the outside (atmospheric pressure).
- Step Compression
When the piston moves to the bottom dead center (BDC) to top dead center (TDC). In this step with the fuel-air mixture to be compressed. Then the suction valve and exhaust valve will be closed. When the piston rises from the bottom dead point to the top dead point a mixture of fuel and air is sucked to be compressed. The result is the pressure and the temperature will be rising, so it will be flammable.
